Hellebore joined our farm in 2023 from Lauden Acres in PA. He was carefully selected to complement the structure of our ewes while increasing overall size. At 10 months, Hellebore weighed just under 190lbs.
"Americano"
Americano joined our farm in 2021 after a careful search for an unrelated sire to permit multiple breeding groups for our ewe lambs. Americano was selected for his height and correctness and has added these characteristics to his offspring.
Standby, Americano is shy and does not like photos
"Frappé"
Frappé was selected for his width, weight, and overall stature. Frappé is a full brother to Macchiato, and continued to outgrow Macchiato through the first year. He has added noticeable thickness to our flock and his descendents do well on pasture.
"Macchiato"
Macchiato was selected for his width and ability to maintain weight on pasture as an “easy keeper”. Although he was born on our farm, he has strong ties to Buckeye Acres genetically.
"Otis"
Otis was selected for his long and tall structure. He weighed over 230 pounds, had a good hair coat, and was proportionately muscled. Otis had a great temperament as well adding to his attributes.
"Felix"
Felix was selected for his ability to add muscle and depth. He was a fall ram from Buckeye Acres raised on the farm. Felix is very structurally correct and added weight gain, depth, and muscle capacity to the frame.
