Meet our Mini Aussies
Krum and Blaise's litter arrived on May 20th!
At Sonlight Ridge Farm, we strive to raise exceptional puppies who are well adjusted to family life, with good health and conformity, who will make great additions to their fur-ever families. Our Mini Aussies are raised in our home, as members of the family from birth. They are handled daily by us, our children, and grandchildren and receive age appropriate socialization before heading home.
Trix
Meet Bellatrix, or “Trix” for short, our first Miniature Australian Shepherd female. Trix was born Spring 2021 and is registered with the American Stock Dog Registry (ASDR). She is a beautiful blue merle tricolor who has a very sweet, laid-back temperament and loves people. Trix has a clear/clean health certificate.
Blaise
Meet Blaise, our second Miniature Australian Shepherd female, who was born Summer 2021 and is registered with the American Stock Dog Registry (ASDR). She is a red merle who has a great personality and is willing to please. She loves the outdoors, playing with people and other dogs. Blaise has a clear/clean health certificate.
Krum
Meet Krum, our black tricolor Miniature Australian Shepherd male! Krum was born Spring 2023 and is registered with the American Stock Dog Registry (ASDR). He is full of energy and loves to play fetch, snuggle up with people and his furry friends. Krum has a clear/clean health certificate.
Mission
As a vet, I meet so many puppies as patients who have been purchased from a puppy mill or similar type breeder with health issues or who lack socialization. At Sonlight Ridge Farm, our puppies truly are raised in our home, handled daily by our children & grandchildren and have age-appropriate socialization with other dogs, puppies, and people. We are passionate about matching socialized and healthy puppies with their fur-ever homes!
What to Expect
Most puppies are ready to go home at 8 weeks of age.
Puppies will have ASDR papers, age-appropriate vaccinations administered by a vet, complete physical exam, deworming, 1-month heartworm, flea & tick prevention, and a Veterinary Health Certificate of Inspection. Puppies are guaranteed to be clear on the 10 panel Australian Shepherd Essential Genetic Health Test by parentage.
All puppies will have docked tails unless specially requested (see pricing column for additional details).
Pricing
Our prices range from $700-$1300 depending on coat, eye color, and sex.
A $200 deposit (non-refundable) is required to join our waitlist with puppy selection in order of deposit date.
A natural tail length request requires a $400 deposit (non-refundable) and selection of puppy within 48 hours of birth.
No guarantee of adult size, coat or eye color at maturity.
Going Home Options
- Pick-up in California Kentucky at our farm
